Dropbox: Throw away your flash drive
Easy to use, and most importantly it is free ( 2 Gb). Here is your new place for important documents alternative to your flash drive: Dropbox. Drag and drop your document into Dropbox file, while you are running other businesses, it will sync your file over the internet. If you want, you may share your documents within Dropbox public folder through the dedicated URL for the document. It is a popular cloud storage tool -till Ubuntu One is available for Windows ;)
